Alleva Coppolo pickups are built here in our factory from the ground up. We start by cutting the flatware on our laser cutter followed by loading the flat ware with ALNICO V pole pieces to make the bobbin.

Each bobbin is sealed then “scatter-wound” using Jimmy Coppolo’s patterns which recreate that classic tone. They are then potted with a special mix of temperature matched waxes to keep them from causing undesirable noise and feedback.

Alleva-Coppolo pickups are standard size and will fit retro basses.
